Northampton District High School is located in the rural setting of Northampton, 54km north of Geraldton. Providing high quality education for the local community, it caters to children from Kindergarten to Year 10. We truly believe that all students are deserving of a quality education, no matter where they live. To this end, our staff work hard to ensure that they receive every benefit that a close knit and caring community can offer, while simultaneously being able to engage in learning processes seen in high performing schools elsewhere in the state. There is a school-wide focus on continual improvement. Students benefit from having committed and experienced teaching and support staff, many of whom are long-standing members of the community. Teaching staff provide a dynamic and varied curriculum that enriches students’ learning and provides a solid foundation for them to achieve their potential. Underpinning all academic success is a school culture that enables a strong sense of belonging, respect and progress; something that we are very proud of. It is this culture and our constant drive for progress that is encapsulated in our school motto and vision: ‘A place to learn; a place to grow’.
